Our goal is to provide a venue for like-minded professionals to collaborate on projects that benefit the community at large—and that’s why we’ve chosen this structure for our board; it’s not ego-driven, it’s purpose-driven.
The Board has an important role in ensuring that all members have access to opportunities within BCA. The Board’s purpose is to set the direction for the association and guide it through its growth by making sure all decisions are made for the greater good of the community and focused on ensuring that our association is run for its members.
The future of our industry is not in the premium cigars produced by giant companies. It’s in the boutique cigar brands and their owners, retailers and companies. And we’re here to help them get their voices heard.
We believe that the boutique segment has never achieved that price-value connection because there’s been a lack of proper representation of what a boutique cigar is. We cannot compete with the marketing budgets or sales numbers of these larger brands.
But we know that there are plenty of people out there who want to support small businesses and enjoy high quality products. These are the people we want to reach with our content and brands.
The next step for the board is to continue to shed light on boutique cigar brands, owners and companies that are doing amazing things in their communities. We want to be able to tell their stories and make sure they get the recognition they deserve.

The Boutique Cigar Association is an organization of cigar industry professionals for cigar industry businesses. We are growing every day. With more than 50 members we are joined by members of the retail establishments, mobile lounges, event venues, distributors, brokers, accessory companies and the individual cigar enthusiast.
